Nada Rizk is a Lebanese Finnish artist working mainly in ceramics and bronze. She holds a Master degree in Political Sciences and International Relations from the London school of Economics (LSE) and a degree in Arts from the Académie Libanaise des Beaux Arts (ALBA).
Her hand built sculptures grow from a multitude of images in the natural and the imaginary worlds.
BLOOM is a series of 15 tall ceramic sculpture vessels with hundreds of hand built flowers and organic elements all in bloom as if frozen in time. Each sculpture is unique.
The accumulation of hundreds of flowers and organic elements side by side convey a feeling of opulence, sensuality and communicate a sense of power.
It aims at redefining our relationship with nature and the environment in which we are living.
Nada’s ceramic sculptures have been exhibited in Lebanon and abroad and sought after by private collectors.
