With a background in Fine Arts at Oxford followed by a wide array of artistic mediums, Nevine has been participating in several collective exhibitions. These include the Kensington Exhibition Center in London, Amale Traboulsi’s Gallerie Epreuve d’Artiste, Nazik Hariri Exhibition in Lebanon, Karen Chekerdjian Gallery, Charif Tabet Gallery, or Jeanine Rubeiz Gallery at the Dubai Art Fair. At the 2017 Salon d’Automne, she won the Audience Choice Award at the Sursock Museum of modern and contemporary art in Beirut for her two towering hand built ceramic sculptures. Her creations have found beautiful homes in London, Cairo, Dubai, and Lebanon. Nevine erects trunks in an imaginary world she wants to preserve. She gives life, her relentless hands kneading. She whispers her artistic sap into the nooks and crannies. Occasionally, a splash of color pops up, just a trickle. A tear. Red. Unexpected. A scream. Munch’s contained scream. Inaudible. Sensational. Fissured and cracked.
